What the product processes
The free health check processes the file you select inside your browser. If you explicitly save to a workspace, VarePulse stores a compact analysis summary, reviewed field mapping, selected scenario settings, decisions, and an audit event linked to your signed-in identity.
Optional AI review
AI review is never automatic. When you select Ask AI, VarePulse sends only the document’s column names to the configured AI provider. Row values and the original document stay in your browser. The response is advisory and cannot approve an order or payment.
What is not intentionally stored
The original CSV, TSV, TXT, JSON, or XLSX payload is not uploaded by the document analyser. Payment details are handled by the merchant-of-record checkout and are not stored by VarePulse.
Purposes
Data is used to provide inventory analysis, remember approved mappings, compare operating cycles, support approvals, administer subscriptions, secure the service, and investigate errors or abuse.
Legal basis and processors
Processing needed to provide an account or paid service is based on performance of a contract or steps requested before entering one. Security, abuse prevention, service improvement, and support are based on legitimate interests. Legal and accounting records are processed to meet legal obligations. Consent is used where required. Service providers include OpenAI and its hosting infrastructure for the application and authentication, OpenAI for optional AI review, and Paddle as merchant of record for checkout, payment, tax, and billing records.
Retention and deletion
Workspace summaries are kept while an account is active and for up to 90 days after closure to allow recovery and orderly deletion. Support enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after resolution. Security logs are normally kept for up to 90 days. Billing, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting records may be retained longer where Paddle or applicable law requires it. Data is deleted or anonymised when the applicable period ends unless preservation is required for a legal claim.
Your choices
Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to eligible processing through the contact form. They may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency or their local supervisory authority. Browser-only analyses disappear when the page state is cleared and are never added to the workspace unless the user selects Save summary.
International transfers and security
Providers may process data outside Denmark. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard. VarePulse uses data minimisation, server-side authorisation, signed webhooks, and separation of raw documents from durable summaries.
Operator and contact
The data controller is Christopher Edwards, Dan Turells Gade 30, 1., 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark. Privacy and deletion requests may be emailed to support.varepulse@gmail.com or sent through the public contact form.
